Scrapbook Steals blog hop!!

I was so thrilled when Kristy invited me to join in on the September blog hop over at Scrapbook Steals. I mean, who doesn't like getting amazing scrapbooking supplies at a bargain?

When the Martha Stewart glitters arrived, I immediately dove right in, and everything ended up a bit more sparkly at my house. :)  It was so gorgeous, and I really love (and was happily surprised) that it was super easy to add some sparkle to my projects.

I started out small, and made a simple card using a stamp, my cameo, and the gorgeous glitter.  I love the added oomph it gives my card.

With that under my belt, I moved to a layout.

I used the glitter to cover a Studio Calico mistable cloud, and as confetti.

Then I edged a banner I cut out using my cameo, and I loved how it turned out.

Onto layout number two.  I knew exactly what I wanted to do on this layout.  I covered the title I cut out using my cameo with the glitter, and it made me so happy.

Then came the sunburst, and I was amazed at how easy it was to add the dimension that I wanted with the glitter.

I hadn't used glitter on my projects in a long time, but after this I will definitely be reaching for it again. It was the perfect addition to my layouts, and who doesn't love sparkle?

Now continue on to the fabulous Becki Adams to see what she created.  If you haven't checked out the other blogs along the way, you can always head back to Scrapbook Steals to get the full list of participants.

Don't forget to add a comment here for the chance to win a $20 GC to ScrapbookSteals.com! Comments will close September 16th at 11:59 MST. Good luck!
