Hope everyone missed me while I was gone to celebrate the 4th. We had a great family vacation at the beach that was fun and relaxing, and exhausting. All GOOD! Most of my favorites will be from the beach, with one extra thrown in at the end.

One of my favorite things we did was to do the skydive simulator at iFly, it was AMAZING!!

Being at the beach, my hair was a frizzy, yucky MESS. I have decided to really try to work with my curls this summer instead of fighting them. Therefor, this is a necessity.
I am going to try these tips and see if I can get my hair to cooperate any better.

Now for the serious part of my Friday Favorites. We took a quick family photo on the beach, and I was not happy when I saw myself.
My clothes have been a bit tight on me for awhile, but I didn't notice how different I looked until I saw this pic. I have definitely let myself go, and this picture has helped me to do something about it. Last year, I lost about 10 pounds using Weight Watchers. This plan has always worked for me. I don't do well on meal replacements or cutting out sugar, carbs, etc. If I don't allow myself some good stuff every once-in-a-while, I totally fail. With WW, you can have a little somethin-somethin if you have the points for it. That way I can have my jelly beans or a beer (or even two), as long as I plan for it. I started this Monday, and I'm down 3.5 pounds (yesterday was my weigh in day), which I'm thrilled with. I usually lose less than 2 lbs a week, since I don't have a lot to lose. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
